OUR story
The founders are three friends from Islington who met in 2016. Ben had spent many years going to a conventional gym, but was getting bored. He had heard the hype around CrossFit and signed up for a trial. He was instantly hooked by the results and the friends he made.
That’s where he met Adam, one of the most qualified CrossFit coaches in London. Adam had spent the last few years planning to open his own gym. A place that brings together the very best of what he’s learnt to a beautiful and modern space.
Not long after, Manny came along as a new coach from Italy and together, they decided to open their own gym to bring the benefits of CrossFit to their local community. As soon as the Arch in Holloway came free they knew it was their opportunity to go back to where it all started and so CrossFit Holloway was born.

SPECIALITY CLASSES
HYROX
These classes are all about training for HYROX events - a global fitness race combining eight 1km runs with eight functional workout stations, testing endurance and strength in a consistent format worldwide. The workouts include activities like skiing, sled pushes/pulls, burpee broad jumps, rowing, farmers carries, sandbag lunges, and wall balls. This class is guaranteed to raise a sweat.
GYMNASTICS
Our gymnastics classes focus on bodyweight movements and are for all levels. As well as building strength, muscle and mobility they will challenge your coordination with new skills and drills. As well as handstands and muscle-ups, classes focus on getting you the bodyweight fundamentals of push-ups, pull-ups and a sterling core.
Olympic Weightlifting
CrossFit incorporates Olympic Weightlifting (the Snatch and Clean & Jerk) for explosive power, speed, and overall athleticism. To get proficient at variations like power cleans, overhead squats and thrusters, aiming for functional fitness, our weightlifting session prioritises technique and maximal loads for single-rep performance.
STRENGTH AND BODYBUILDING
These popular classes focus on building muscle and strength. Using Barbell, Kettlebells and Dumbells these classes are a lot of fun and are done under the guidance of a coach.
YOGA
Yoga is an ancient mind-body practice from India, uniting physical postures (asanas), breath control (pranayama), and meditation to foster holistic well-being, improving flexibility, strength, mental clarity, and reducing stress, blood pressure, and anxiety while enhancing overall fitness and self-awareness. The perfect compliment to any CrossFit or HYROX training.
